Last night, Sean, myself and my parents went to Providence to celebrate my birthday... which is September 10th.
Without knowing however, it appeared to be a relatively fitting place to be on the eve of September 11th. We visited the Wall of Hope -- which was a community building project revealed on September 11th, 2002. People all over the state of Rhode Island painted tiles to express their feelings and reflect on the 9.11 attacks. People of all ages, religions and races came together and created art as a lasting memorial and a symbol of unity, community and hope. If you're ever in the area and want to see something truly spectacular and tremendously emotional you should visit Rhode Island's Wall of Hope.
There's so much to say about September 11th, 2001 but for now I think these tiles say everything.
