To say that I've enjoyed my vacation would be an understatement. It was the first vacation, maybe ever, that I didn't spend days watching tv on the couch. No, in fact, for many days the tv wasn't even plugged in. Instead, I spent time with friends and family, went to yoga and Pilates, primed and painted, crafted and shopped, went on beer tastings, played pool, went to dinners and lunches, took scenic drives, rode the T, took pictures in Chinatown, rearranged living room furniture, celebrated three birthdays, packed for my scrapbook weekend, saw our backyard without snow for the first time, added some lights onto our front pathway, went to the movies -- the list goes on. It was perfect.
Tomorrow I'll be waking up early in the morning, before the sun is up (that's the worst part), to go to work. In the grand scheme of things -- it's only about 9 more weeks until the school year is done. I can't even believe that. It makes me so excited to think about summer -- warm weather, time off, home improvement projects, trips with Sean, bridal showers and bachelorette parties and weddings and concerts -- the list goes on! I can't wait...
