The Boston Marathon

We had plans to go to the marathon on Monday and then Monday morning came and the thought of staying in bed and watching TV swayed us in that direction. Luckily, we took time on Saturday to visit the start line. We went with friends (I ended up going twice in one day), and stopped at a bar right by the start line and took some pictures. The bars and restaurants near the marathon route serve a special Sam Adams beer around the marathon called 26.2. I didn't indulge in the beer but I enjoyed watching friends drink and do their renditions of the "cups" song at the bar with the plastic Sam Adams cups.

Also over the weekend, I dyed some easter eggs (successfully & unsuccessfully) if that's even possible. I don't know how that is a child's activity. It was pretty difficult but they came out beautifully!
