Beach day!

As we were going to bed one night, I said to Sean "we should go to the beach in the morning". And so we did!

Now, I'm in no way a fan of the beach. But I thought it would be one of those cute photo opportunities... except I underestimated how much walking is involved from the parking lot to said beach, the heat and the sun and the ice cold water, plus carrying all the stuff one "needs" for a beach trip with a toddler... and carrying said toddler from the parking lot to the burning sand. Phew. It was rough. But we made it (and stayed a whole 90 minutes!) and learned a bit for our next beach trip... because YES, there will be another beach trip.
