But, this cake bakery has my favorite wedding cakes! They have been at all the bridal shows I've been to [oh no, to vs. too -- English major, think, think] AND their cakes happen to be included in our package deal at Christina's! Amazing.
So, we had plans to ask questions and look around and imagine/envision/plan/etc. But when we got there, it was so busy, that even though they weren't rude by any means, we didn't get the feeling that it was an appropriate time to ask questions including standard questions like, "how are you?"...
So, we quickly picked up a list of what they offer, told the woman we were looking for a chocolate cake for a birthday [Barb's!], she choose one for us -- wrote Happy Birthday Barbara -- and we were out of there before we even knew what was happening. Crazy!
So after dinnertime, it was time to celebrate B's b-day! With our birthday music in the CD player and cameras out like the paparazzi [anyone who has attended a b-day celebration in Mendon before, knows exactly, what I'm referring to], it was time to blow out candles and cut the cake!
And let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious!
Everything from the texture, flavor, frosting, chocolate flakes, strawberries! Perfect! AND I don't even really like chocolate cake! But I loved this one!
We all did!
