Weekend Fun.

Today, I finalized everything with the florist. It's pretty relieving to get things done and know that flowers (and other things) will actually be showing up the day of.

I got some other things done today, and one of those things was to put together these little treats. :)

I wanted to make sure the centerpieces go home with someone (assuming someone wants them) and the way we're going to do that is sometime during the night the DJ will announce to everyone to check underneath their chair. One chair at each table with have a small pink envelope (from Paper Source) taped to it.

I special ordered black guitar picks (since Sean is a guitarist) and put one pick in each envelope:

:) I really love how they came out. So the person who has the envelope will get the first "pick" (!) to see if they want the flowers... if not, I suppose they could then offer them up to anyone else who may want them.

Happy 4th of July!

Paper Source Stamps

When we had our final details meeting last weekend, our wedding coordinator mentioned that it's usually a good idea to remind people of their meal choice by writing it lightly on the back of their escort card. Well... I went a step further. ;)

At Paper Source (have you been?!) they have these stamps:

...which we purchased today. ;)

And I plan on stamping the back of the escort cards. I don't think we'd necessarily have to write "beef" or "chicken" underneath but we were testing them out.

I like the black better... but the pink is really cute. So I think I'll use the black for all the options except for the kids meals (the chick!) -- and I'll use the pink ink for all the kids meals.

31 days!

Dancin' shoes.

Our last dance class was canceled because the instructor was feeling sick, and I still haven't rescheduled. I hope we haven't forgotten our steps!

I've been buying lots & lots of wedding things. Bridesmaid and groomsmen gifts, thank you cards (from Paper Source!) for my upcoming bridal shower [March 19!], and I'm in search of something that I'll reveal at a later date... IF I find it.

Next weekend, it's time to pick invitations!

And stay tuned for all the details about our food tasting which was last Wednesday. As soon as I get some pics they'll be up on the blog. ;)

Paper Source, oh Paper Source

Now that I've given them time to arrive, I can reveal the thank you's I choose for our engagement party.

I wanted to order thank you's from Wedding Paper Divas but I was nervous about having to wait for them to arrive and then taking too long to write them out...

So instead, I ran right over to Paper Source, which is literally amazing!

I spent a really long time staring at their shelves and I just couldn't make a decision. So rather than make a choice... I just bought everything that I had been holding on to while I stood there.

Success? I think so...

See, fabulous!

Paper Source

Like many others, I seem to have found a special place in my heart for Paper Source. It's a store that, literally, has everything and seems to leave nothing behind.

For instance, the store in Wellesley has an entire back room devoted to envelopes. You may think... how many envelopes could there possibly be?

However, don't be fooled.

They have every size, shape and color imaginable. I bought these for my first mailing out to my bridesmaids.

#10 open ended envelopes, in fuchsia!

I bought a few packs since I plan to send out a couple more things to my girls and would like to remain consistent with the envelopes I use.

I can't wait to show you what I sent inside these fancy envelopes!
